COURT IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!

Now in Saskatchewan as of July 1, 2022, most family law matters that want to have their matter heard in family court will be required to attempt a family dispute resolution process before they will be able to continue with any further court proceedings. People can apply for an exemption if there has been interpersonal violence, a parent has abducted a child from the other parent, or there is some other urgency.  There are a number of early family dispute resolution process options that are available such as Mediation; Collaborative Law Process; Family Arbitration; Parenting Coordinator
